Hillcrest GROW Program
Welcome parents! This GROW website is made for you to extend the Wednesday activities for your child. Your kids will find links to some of the material we used, activities, and photos. (We promise not to post on the Internet any photo where your child can be identified.)
Every Wednesday night we learn a Bible story and a Bible verse. The evening starts with an opening time together where we hear the verse and sing. Then we break up to rotate between three stations. One station is craft time, another is the Bible story station, and the third is the activity station. The evening closes with more singing and review. If you come for your child a little early, you are welcome to join us in the closing.
By the following weekend you should find material that is posted on this website to help your child learn the verses, remember the Bible stories, see pictures, and get instructions for other fun stuff to do. We understand that this website requires reading and that many kids in the GROW program are pre-readers or early readers. So, this is the opportunity where you can help your child navigate the material and maybe help them learn a few new words and verses.
