Week 23

Paul and Silas were in jail ... but they weren't really the one's who were trapped. It was the jailer who needed to be free! I don't know which was more surprising to the jailer: the earthquake or that Paul and Silas did not leave. Paul explained it simply to the jailer when he told him:

Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved!
- Acts 16:31

Check out this stuff:

Well, Isobel finally came to live with the Lisu people in China. God brought her exactly to the people that she prayed for all of those years. Listen to the story again at Isobel Kuhn: Week 5.

Zoey knows that her parents love her. She especially loves her dad! They are all very thankful that there is a food bank. Hear her story again at Real Stories of Hunger: Zoey.

In our Bible story, Paul was in jail with his friend Silas ... all for doing something good! You can read the whole story for yourself in the Bible in Acts 16:16-40.

That was a fun night! You got to paint, try some things from China, build with blocks, and make an earthquake! See some of it in pictures.

Next GROW:

At the next GROW we will learn a little more about being saved. The verse is:

While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
