Week 21

Peter wanted to do what was right as a Jewish man. Peter was surprised when God gave him a vision that did not seem right for a Jew. But he understood when he was led to the house of Cornelius who was a Roman. God wanted Cornelius to know about Jesus too. God was not going to let Jewish traditions get in the way of His mission!

Peter became a missionary that day. He was obeying Jesus words:

Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
- Matthew 28:19

Isobel now has a heart for God and for the Lisu people in China. But she is not there yet. Will she go there? Listen to the story again at Isobel Kuhn: Week 3.

Our Bible story was about Peter and a Roman man named Cornelius. Read all about Peter's vision and about Peter telling Cornelius and those with him about Jesus in Acts 10.
