Week 19

A centurion, a Roman soldier over 100 men, searched for Jesus to heal someone he cared about. Jesus said that man had more faith than everyone in Israel. I guess we cannot know who will trust Jesus. Jesus said in our memory verse:

Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
- Matthew 28:19

We started a new missionary story, Isobel Kuhn: Week 1. It sounds like she grew up in a very happy family!

This video starts out about a girl who is a Christian where there aren't very many Christians. She tells the Bible story because it was an encouragement to her. Check it out at Jesus Heals a Centurion's Servant. You can read the story directly from the Bible in Matthew 8:5-13.

If you like puzzles, see if you can solve this No-Left-Turn Maze that someone else made.

Did you finish your centurion? Did you like the no-right-turn maze? Check out some pictures from our evening.

Next GROW:

The next GROW meeting will be on February 24, 2021. We will hear about a man in a chariot who needed a little help understanding the Bible. The memory verse will be that same verse as this week:

Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
- Matthew 28:19
